They're fun. You get to put names & faces together. Good excuse for a
beer. Get to see others people's old Newt gear. Sometimes sharing a tip
requires a whack on the back of the head or forehead Good excuse for a
beer. Social newtworking to find out who's up to what and maybe land
you next big job. Good excuse for a beer.

I'd love to go to an event where any number of folks on the old Newton
teams could attend, but I don't think that's going to happen soon.
One of them, Maurice Sharp, was one of my TA"s at University (gawd I'm
old)
While you can share a number of things via email and snail mail for a
local get together it makes more sense to all come to one place and
just have a good time.
