Well, in the case of "24" it was used as a plot device. You could go
back to Episode 1, and tell who was going to be bad and who was good by
what kind of computer they used. In the second season, they reversed
it, the bad guys used macs and the good guys used PCs. This season, it
seems they are mixed (although it could be all planned too... guess we
will just have to wait).
What about a movie where the bad guys use Palm and Pocket PCs and the
hero uses a Newton to save the day! THAT would be good!
