My data is based on years 1992-1997 in the store I managed. We serviced
approximately 100 computers per month and our service center serviced around
1,500 computers per month. So the data is from that era and limited to
Apple, AST, Compaq, HP, IBM and Packard-Bell. Not inclusive or exclusive,
but representative.

Try checking the stats at Which magazine (UK) this genuinely shows the Mac
to be more reliable followed by sony(this was a while ago) with gateway, time
dell waaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind, these people are slightly pro windows so the
playing field is at least level and this excluded viruses and was on the
first year Chris England
