And 10.2 was a speed demon compared to 10.1, and 10.1 was better than
public beta - all because the core elements of os X are relatively new
beasts (despite having a nice *nix pedigree) and Apple has put a lot of
energy into tweaking and improving them between each release - not just
slapping new features and security patches on like the Microsoft seems
to be doing these days.
