on the other hand, I've never seen a multiple-resolution book (I recall
the Pensee folks, who wrote the book reade,r didn't have one around
either) -- if I had had one, I would've figured out how to add support
for this to Newt's Cape... (and we could more intelligently discuss
merits/sizes of single multi-format book vs. multiple books).

Well you are in luck as I know I have one some where. I will go looking
through my books (I have quite a few) and see if I can find it. As I
remember it took a lot more room than was expected and I always assumed it
was due to the different formats (bascially 3 formats=3 books mashed into
one). However it has been a long time since I looked at that book so I
can't be sure.
