Theft is theft, what lesson would that instill in the future generations? It
doesn't matter how the music industry behaves within the law, it's their
property. If they continue to behave in ways that consumers don't respond to
(meaning that consumers reduce spending, not stealing) then they will be
forced to change or go out of business.
This is black and white, if you steal, it's wrong.

Maybe the 'new' generation sees the rip off that the music moguls enjoy
and have ethical(ish) reasons for not joining the game? plus the
pirates that really do the damage are the organised crime types who
make cd's and dvd's by the busload and flog them in markets etc, the
F.A.C.T. bods and American oppo's should leave the kids and students
alone and go for the big boys
