i have all types of entries and i use timetrax. newtsync always syncs
one more entry than projected and chokes on that last, extra one. since
i dont get an error message, the only way to proceed is to actually
close the connection. you can then start a new session, alter the prefs
and sync what remains, but it involves a lot of work. it used to work
flawlessly in jaguar until the daylight savings bug entered the scene,
which was about the time when i upgraded to panther. after that,
everything went downhill...

it is not the connection, but the syncing.

when it comes to escale, i can use the computer keyboard on the newton,
but i cant install packages - it simply chokes on the first byte. same
goes for syncronizing.
