I have used successfully similar cards in my 5300c and 1400c
under Mac OS 9.1, and naturally with my MP2100 .

The cards was Orinoco Silver and Gold models, and the sofware
was downloaded from Lucent site.

Check if they support older systems, but I fear you will have to
jump to something like the 8.1 or 8.6...
