You wish! ;=} While I used to be pretty fanatic about comics, mainly of
Franco-Belgian make, too, and still like them a lot (only I sink my
disposeable income nowadays in car repairs - French car, too, do I see a
pattern? -, vinyl record buying binges on fleamarkets, vintage HiFi-gear -
buy 70ies Marantz, if you want to be happy - and my folding boat passion
instead of brightly colored pulp paper) I don't know of any to be in the
public domain at the moment. Maybe Little Nemo in the US and Wilhelm Busch
in Germany are in the public domain... But where to get nicely resoluted
scans for free?

But Tin-Tin sure is great! They even made very respectable movies out of
the books, and the books were magnificient - large, thick (for the time),
clear and well-crafted panels. And some of the best looking
comic-merchandise, too!

Anyhow, I *DID* promise you a reward, Les, and since nobody came forward
with a better explanation about the 12 days of Christmas... Okay, here is
your price: I'll make an eBook for you.
Send me any etext you want up to 400 KB in size, and I'll make your
book. Only might take a couple weeks now, as I'm currently pretty much
fully booked by another volunteer project, but eventually you'll get it.

Gotta hop now,

DJV.
