iTunes continues to be available (<http://docs.info.apple.com/
article.html?artnum=120254>) as 4.2 is still current; the other iApps
aren't because the new versions aren't ready yet. There's no point in
offering a download link to an older version that doesn't have all the
features advertised on the product page. This is exactly the same
situation as it has been when the first version of the iLife suite came
out: iPhoto continued to be available, as it was still current, the iLife
CD was on sale (meaning you could order it; actual delivery had to wait
until all the new versions were ready), and download links to the other
iApps only reappeared when the new versions went final.

Now of course, Apple might have decided not to offer iPhoto and iMovie
for free again, but so far, I see no indication that they did.
