Do you get a wireless connection icon in your system tray? If you do, double
click it to open it, and look for your wireless network. The problem I had
for weeks with my Toshiba was switching wireless connections at home and
work. In the wireless network icon, I had to manually click my network name
and give it permission to connect to a non secure (wep-less) network before
it would get a DHCP lease.
I hope this is helpful.
