[NTLK] Merlin GPRS card progress

I've figured out my first mistake in trying to get the Merlin GPRS card
to work with the Newton. I was using a "Modem" Internet Setup and not
a "Serial".

I found this old message from Daniel Padilla in the archives:

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=newtontalk&m=103601723902904&w=2

...which looks darn close to what I would need. I tried using this
exact setup, except changing the APN from "movistar.es" to
"internet3.voicestream.com", which is what I normally use.

Unfortunately, when trying to, for example, retrieve mail with
SimpleMail, I get the usual "loading PPP driver" dialog followed
immediately by "Internet error: -26005". It doesn't look like it's
even trying to dial out.

Other Internet-enabled apps, like Courier, simply fail without an error
message.

Anyone have any idea what a "internet error -26005" is?

Steven
