Technically, you shouldn't have to boot. I often disconnect and/or change
internet connections, and it usually just works. However, sometimes, when
our WAP was having problems, a reboot would work when nothing else did... I
don't think it was the Mac that was having the problems, however, but our
wireless to the net...
