Okay, so I bought iLife 04 just for the new version of iPhoto (I know I
won't be using any of the other software). My problem is this: iPhoto
is STILL very very laggy! It takes forever to open, and browsing isn't
any faster either. I tried dragging all of my photos to a folder,
deleting my library, then dragging the photos back into iPhoto. No
difference in speed.

Vital Stats:
System: Powerbook G4 12"
Processor: 867 G4
RAM: 256
Photos: 4,503
iPhoto Version: iPhoto04

Any help would be much appreciated. I really don't want to have just
wasted $50.
