If your Keyspan us beung used By OS X it will be unavailiable in OS 9
Classic mode.
Using an ethernet card in your Newton is far better. It is much faster
and is accessible in
both Classic and X.
However, you will need to use a Hub, Switch, or a router in order to
connect the Newton
to the Mac.
A crossover will not do it.
If you do not intend to make a network at your house I suggest a hub.
Because it is the cheapest.
Additionally, the Newton does not recognize word proccessing
doucuments. But it does
recognize RTF and TXT files.
