This is Escale, not eScale. And it's actually to be pronounced eskael
where e is the e of set and ae is the a of sat. It's definitely not to be
pronounced e-scale with e as in eMac and scale like a scale.

Rendezvous does work if you use Dock 1.1. I'm pretty sure you used
Dock 1.0 that was bundled with Escale 1.0.1. Escale (unlike some Unix-only
DCL sample codes) offers Rendezvous. Why would we need to display the IP?
Plus Escale listens on *every* interfaces. Your Mac can have several IP
addresses, and most of the time when you run Escale, it does have at least
two (Ethernet or Airport & Link Local on these interfaces) plus 127.0.0.1.

Progress indicators were added with later builds, as well as a lot of
fixes in the synchronization code. And later I broke everything.
I'm sorry I cannot work on Escale right now, Apple still holds my
PowerBook because of the extreme competence in the AppleCare service
point in Paris (never believe AppleCare when they say it will be faster if
you bring your Mac there).
