Bret,
Here are my thoughts...
Pat yourself on the back, go to E-Bay or the list and buy yourself a brand
(to you) new Newton Message Pad 2100 - you deserve it. Keep the old one for
giggles and dissecting.

Subject: [NTLK] Newton weird reset
More info about my random Newton reset problem.
Restarted without cards in it & without loading in any other items apart
from what it came with. The Newt still does the reset thing.
It also has a new thing - half the time, it claims that it restarted because
"the batteries were changed" (they weren't).
It also restarts while sitting down or plugged in, although that's a bit
more rare.
After a few resets, it will need to be unplugged with the battery removed,
and then an intentional 20-second reset done to get it to start up again.
Any thoughts? Thanks
