Sometimes I think that the whole slowdown.exe thing is totally =
unnecessary.
Mostly because I've never had to use it, on machines ranging from 400MHz
K6-3 clone boxes to AMD Athlon 2700+ workstations and all kinds of Dells =
and
IBMs in between.

But that's just me.

For me too! Seems like the only time I need to use slowdown is when =
backing
up my 32 Mb Pretec card! Downloading .pkg with the newly installed 56K =
ncu
hack is even faster now!!
