Not going to happen.
Basically, what you need to keep in mind is that the
Newton was DISCONTINUED WAY before any of those things
you mentioned were used!
There are currently 3 web browsers available for the
Newton.
NetHopper: This usually came with the Newt. The
company that wrote it is long gone, and as a result,
it can only handle older HTML. No tables, no animated
gifs, no header redirects. Its a basic browser. It's
major claim to fame is that it's fast and extremly
stable. And it works, period. Plus, it's free...
The next is NewtScape. It supports more modern HTML
standards plus a whole host of other nifty
things...creating newton books from HTML, reading
other book formats and stuff...really cool because it
was invented here and is still supported by the
creator.
Downside, I hear it's somewhat slow and the interface
takes a bit of getting used to.
A relative newcomer is Courier. It's also invented
here and is activly supported. It's zippy fast and
interfaces well with the notepad look and feel of the
Newton.
Downside is that it's text only...for now...
None of these browsers does any kind of client side
scripting. And quite honestly, this is something that
the Newt will never support...well, unless the website
has embedded newtonscript commands...
