Nope no way around this. The built-in apps use very little if any heap
unless fully "running". As for storage, I would suggest getting a card.
Just look for linear flash cards on ebay, and stay with 16mb or less to
conserve heap. And if in doubt ask on the list if a card will work with a
emate. Or check http://www.mac3.de/sig/newton/memory_cards.html has some
good information about various cards. As does the FAQ.
