I'm not sure if it works in Classic under OS X, or if you would have to
boot into 9 (which I somehow doubt your G4 can do), but there's Thomas
Templeton's Newton DIL Tester. It can install packages via IrDA. This
is how I bootstrapped my 2100 to my Pismo G3.
