Hi,
I'm curious that it seemed to work right away. Maybe you shouldn't do
anything drastic right away (like taking it apart).
Maybe let it sit for 24 hours without any power, then try it again, and then
go through the soft reset, hard reset, then (and only then) disassmeble it.
