[NTLK] Bar Code Scanning Devices and Software

I also happen to have a bar code scanning wand thingie, courtesy of one of
the kindhearted original Newton developers. I never even tried it yet, but now
I am curious. The accompanying software disk reads, "MobileScan - Newton
Data Collection Software and Bar Code Fonts". The manufacturer is TPS of
Mountain View, California, and the date is 1995.

Damn! I just noticed the software is for Mac only! I'll have to try and
figure out how to connect the MP 2100 to my ancient Powermac in the basement, and
I KNOW I don't know how to do that (Just like Socrates... Huh!)

If anybody has a bar code scanner but no software, contact me off-list. It
should be understood that this software would be for RESEARCH EXPERIMENTATION
ONLY. I'm not a pirate, really, although I DO like parrots.
