You need an Apple style serial port on your Newton such as item
#5712315998 on eBay or J&K sales
   <http://jksalesinc.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=25_37_48>,
or the SER-001 from J&K Sales
<http://jksalesinc.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=272>
To add a serial style adapter to your iMac use a Keyspan serial/USB
adapter
see item #5111231968 on eBay and appropriate drivers downloadable from
Keyspan.
and an Apple serial printer cable to go between the two.
