Hello, all -
I'm new to the group - I just bought an old MP100 off of ebay, and since I have
a Palm III keyboard lying
around, I decided to get the Newtway connector to match the two up. I've seen a
lot of posts about the keyboard and driver here, and have been in contact with Doug
and trying to contact Daniel (bounced twice), BUT can't get my problem solved yet.
Does anyone know if the stowaway driver Daniel wrote works on NewtOS 1.3?
After downloading Daniel's .02 driver for the keyboard from http://www.splorp.com/newton/stowaway/,
I can't seem to get it to install - I get a -10401 (bad package) error.
I have to download the driver on my PC, then sneakernet it over to an old non-internet
savvy pb520 to connect to
the Newton. I've used an app to re-establish the creator codes so that Newton Connectivity
Kit will recognize the package, but as I said, it won't install.
Could anyone let me know definitevly that it won't work on my MP100 with OS 1.3,
or if anyone has any suggestions about getting it to work?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruce
