Don't give up, Sears offers an extractor that is essentially a reverse
low angle drill bit. But I have had good luck just drilling off the
head of screws/bolts which will leave a stub that you can remove once
the case is opened. Use a drill bit that is slightly larger than the
thread diameter. If you have difficulty finding a replacement,
contact me off list i have a few.
