The individuals, the collective pool of tech knowledge, the nature and
attitude of the community, and the potential for network contacts
available through NTLK by far makes it the best resource for me to ping
for an OT item on which I'm embarking.

I need to contact and partner with a tech savvy Java programmer who's
versed in writing applets to communicate via wireless to a local server.

savvy, cool, programmer that knows their stuff.
