Probably.

OS 2.0 (so, MP120/2.0 and MP130 only) has this easter egg. The OS developers
loaded a table of upcoming eclipses for the next x years (anyone dug through
the ROM and found it yet?) and programmed this easter egg. The first time you
turn on your Newton on that day, you'll see the animation. It's the one thing
I miss about OS 2.1 :)
