When I checked earlier today, the bulk of the pages were missing but
WaveLan was there, no download. Also the Ethernet driver was there and
downloadable. Now they are gone.
Going to the parent DIR redirects to the Euro2004 website. (Fore
Mucking Football! I am SO sick of it!). Going to the hostpage works in
Japanese, so I doubt it's a DNS issue. Either someone is playing silly
buggers with his site, or it really is a case of toys out of the pram.
I'm leaning towards the former given the Euro2004 thing, and will
happily apologise for being utterly unimpressed if no intent to remove
the software was there.
I trust that should Gilgamesh send the $60, he will be provided with 6
licenses for the software for the bidders on those Newtons?
FWIW, since the driver was stalled at 1.08b, I'm fairly sure that
Newton owners will be able to come across it somehow, if Hiroshi is
that determined to stop distributing it. I really can't see anyone
being /that/ upset about it, though - it was six DEMO versions of a
program which people may not be aware about and which would undoubtedly
have netted Hiroshi six sales...
