On Newton 2.0 devices, there is a button "Rotate." Tapping this turns the
Newton's screen one direction. That is the direction that you mentioned,
with the right side of the case up... Cards up, plugs up. So, I guess one
could say that this is the "proper" up side. :-) Of course, I always thought
it was odd, as that was probably the more uncomfortable orientation for
right handers, but as a leftie, I liked it. :-)
