I was able to save some money by getting a PC connection get for my
MP2100, and then connecting it to my iMac via a USB to PC Serial
connector, which i got for $3, versus the significantly more that
you'll pay for a USB to Mac Serial adapter. I saved a little more by
buying a serial cable that connected directly to the interconnect port,
rather than requiring the interconnect adapter.
