Which is of course completely false. The core of their OSX is called
Darwin and completely open source and cross platform. Many parts are
based off FreeBSD, which they have also contributed back to. Off the
top of my head I can think of other projects which include KHTML which
Safari is based on, GCC, X11, and ZeroConf aka Rendezvous. They have
their own open source license which is certified by FSF. I believe
they have also hired many of the top open source developers and let
them continue their work. The only real closed part is Aqua, and their
applications.
