AFAIK, GhostScript can do that also. I've done it with PS files a long
time ago and a simple UNIX shell script can be use to programatically
convert a lot of files at once.
The quality isn't that perfect because, unless you're using some kind
of paid UNIX OS (I use Solaris), GhostScript uses some freeware fonts
that aren't as good as the commercial ones.
