That really is great reading for MP2x00 users. Any idea when the article was
published?

It mentions using a keyboard and the serial port at the same time. I guess
that's something that would require more hardware like RS-232/422 level
drivers that existing dongles don't have. Wasn't there a picture published
of an Apple prototype dongle that had more ports on it - including audio?
