[NTLK] 1984 and Newtbook Issues

There are really two parts to this.
Part One: 1984 IS Public domain in Russia, Australia and Canada (so
people living in those countries CAN freely download and distribute the
book (as long as the warning and corresponding text are attached).

Part Two: 1984 is NOT yet available as Public Domain in the USA or
Europe. HOWEVER, the Fair Use act does specify that you CAN make a copy
of a work that you own (i.e. if you went to Barnes and Noble and bought
a copy of 1984), then you would be well within your rights to have a
copy on your Newton, which goes the same for any other
book/magazine/ect.

Basically, if you own the book (or live in Russia, Canada, or
Australia), then it is not illegal to have the Newtbook. If you do not
own the book, you either have to go buy the book or delete the
Newtbook.

Should the book be on UNNA? The file on the Canada servers are probably
fine, but the mirrors in the USA and Germany will be a problem (because
distribution in the USA is illegal wither you own the book or not).

Sticky issues.
