Well, since it is so important to you (Seems like every time you post
you are yelling. You are giving Michigan a bad name! :) )

A quick Google search would have answered this question. You can find
instructions here:

http://www.eskimo.com/~millerd/nicadapter/

In the instructions, according to the pin-outs located about half way
down the page, the Newton interconnect port shoots out a mono signal
and expects a mono signal (read: 1 signal input and one signal output
with a common ground.) The speaker is obviously mono. So, unless we
have the framework for a stereo output buried somewhere deep in the
recesses, with no access, the Newton expects a mono input and a mono
output.

Repeat: THE NEWTON IS MONO, M_at_N!!!!!!!

:)

The audio output is at line level, which means that there is no way of
controlling the volume. (other than by external means.) And depending
on your headphones, might not work too well (depending on their
impedence and the output of the line signal from the Newton. I'd
recommend sharing the speaker tap.

Hope that helps. Just calm down!
