This is my first post to this system... Hello All!!
I was recently given 2 upgraded 2000's by a friend. Neither had been
plugged in in a couple of years, but still had the battery packs
installed. The batteries are dead, obviously. I can't get either unit
to boot up. Each unit is exhibiting different behavior, though...
MP2000 #1:
Tries to boot, but is locked into a "boot loop". The screen comes up,
(in landscape, which is odd...) the MP chimes and immediately shuts
down. WTF!? The MP continues to partially boot and shut down until
the power is removed.
MP2000 #2:
This guy is dead. Nothing. Nada. It won't even flinch. Any
thoughts??
I have tried everything in the FAQ and on www.pda-soft.de to no avail.
I would love to get these puppies working, if for no other reason than
to have backups for my 2100.
