Our office (and we have over 30,000 people here locally) leases ALL of our computers from a 3rd party vendor - and it is our agreement that to move a desktop computer, we will have the 3rd party technitions move them - and i don't know about your company, but i'll swear we move everyone at least once per year around here!
So, tho i don't think total wireless is the answer (security, thruput, number of connections etc) - as most cubicles are ethernet wired, we are moving toward a policy of phasing in laptops for all employees - because guess what, we don't have to pay the $100+ fee for moving a desktop every time the employee moves desks.
I love being able to take my wireless laptop to meeting rooms and user desks to demo new updates without needing to connect to that darn wire!
