Keep it for a bit longer despite the fact that it looks good here also.
I have a couple of other ideas to test, and in case you decide to
implement the Newton based dialer...
The GPRS function via phone/bluetooth/newton is SLICK.
Amazing portability, and almost unbelievable battery life. The Ambicom
card (purple) seems to draw much less power then any other newtwork
hookup I have used. of course the phone having it's own battery help
too.
I used the newest IC/VC and installed packages via OSX Bluetooth file
exchange. This worked very well also, but seemed to max out around 2K
bytes/sec (according to OSX).
