Don't know about your newtVNC problem - but I get the same thing with
the wireless connection and switching worksites via AviBD.
My solution; Switch workplaces via avibd - try to connect. then eject
the card at the hang point. Put the card back in - close it's card
window. Try to connect again - funny thing is the connection slip will
not show up at all this time - try to connect a third time and it will
go through properly. It's a pain the arse I admit - but it will get you
online.
