Dear chinese newton fan,

what a wonderful coincidence. I bought my eMate for the express purpose of going
to china. My partner is going to teach for a couple of weeks in Changsha and
we will need an easy acess to the internet for poropses of e-mails and such. I
have had my e-mate for only 2 days and have learned alot about it. I am in the
process of finding a modem so that I can connect to the internet. I have an AC
adaptor for it.

I was wondering if you could anser a general question for me. I am wondering if
the electrical outlets in china are the same in America. you know, two
prongs...do you run on the same current/voltage? I know that Japan and Europe
are different but I wonder about what I need as far as an adapter for my
adapter.

I know I am silly for not knowing these things...

I am glad to know more chinese friends. I have made a good friend in Changsha
and am looking forward to meeting the nice people of China.

curtis
