Hey, I've tried the nail polish which is partially acetone... no
action I can see - though I didn't and wouldn't want to leave it too
long anyways.... it does though clean the glue residue off the case
that's there if you're buying a used Newton. It leaves it feeling like
new (grippy like new out of the box feeling).
