"=3D20" in MIME is ASCII-32, i.e. a space. MIME-encoded characters usually
crop up when a mail contains umlauts or accented characters and the mail
client needs to use MIME encoding (instead of plain ASCII) =5Fand=5F the =
list
server cannot handle MIME, put merely passes through any encoded
characters. This used to be the case with this list, but hasn't this
changed at least a year ago=3F
