The syntax to serve the icons that are built into the Newton's ROM
(version 2.1) is
/gif/magic/@xxx
where the xxx is a number.

As Paul noted, you will not be able to serve all the built-in images;
trial and error seems to be the best bet.
The html on the Note that you are serving with an image would look
something like this:
