Hello Everybody:
First of all, I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Yeah, I know, it's just a silly American holiday, but it's based on love,
respect, and appreciation of the Man Upstairs for all of the good things He has
bestowed upon us in the past year -- so it's a good thing to celebrate, regardless
of locale. So, dine with friends and family, and try not to get upset when
your five-year old niece spills red punch drink on your carpeting. :O)
Now, my lovely SO has suggested that I try to get a tentative HEAD COUNT for
a 2005 gathering of Newton users in southeastern Michigan. I have quite a
variety of Newton-related hardware that could be potentially brought in for
demonstration purposes:
* HP Deskjet 340 portable printer (with plenty of ink cartridges, so print
away!)
* Some kind of funky bar code scanner wand; I'm still trying to figure out
what I can use it for, but I'll get there
* eProbe scientific test probe kit for the Newton eMate (temp, continuity,
light probes, etc)
* Cigarette modems, print packs, PC modem/fax cards, and various other odds
and ends
I'll also put together some documentation for a variety of instructive
presentations.
*** IF YOU LIVE IN MICHIGAN, OHIO, INDIANA, SOUTHERN ONTARIO, PLEASE CONSIDER
ATTENDING, EITHER AS A GUEST OR AS A PRESENTER***
So...drop me a line via my e-mail addy or this list, and I'll put you on a
tentative roster.
Thanks. :O)
Warmest regards,
Matt K.
