Hi Allan,
I checked my wireless router settings and for my wireless for the configuration DOT11 mode, I have "mixed" selected. The other options are "B", "B+ only", "G only".
So the router seems to be set up to allow the card, unless I select one of the other options which would be worthwhile to try.

I have a wireless router that can be set to "b/g" or "g only". Perhaps
Tony's router is similar and is set to 'G only'.
Just a thought from someone who hasn't popped a wireless card into his
Newt yet...
