Well Blake,

I can point you to one but I'm not too sure if it works.
Now if you check the archives there were people asking about using an
Airport Card. I have not ever gotten a full report regarding anyone
tyring such a card in a Newton and getting a report that it did or did
not work...However I may have missed it as I'm recent to the list.

However I recall researching a SONY card which they use to make. It
was on eBay awhile back and I unfortunately lost the auciton. From
what I gather it is actually a WaveLAN Gold card and it is the same
setup as a Airport that it has a jack for an external antennae. It has
the exact same foot print....

I think thin card also is listed in the More WiFi Cards list that
originated on the linux or BSD documentation... In anycase this would
be a good candidate but I'm not sure if it was proprietary or not
either...

HTHn maybe you may have better results than I did...
