the end, though, it depends entirely on what
*you* need to use them for.

Exactly right. I've been constantly surprised by what people passionately feel is important, and "right."

For what it is worth, I use a Palm OS for my main brain, though not a T3. I've not used a 2x00 Newton, but have two mp100s. The Newton is too big for me to carry with me everywhere, as I do my Palm, which is necessary for me to do to keep my schedule and contact up-to-date. Just the way I work. I need to reach in my pocket, jot something down, and forget about it.

I bought the Newtons for the larger screen acerage for reading ebooks, and am very impressed by this forum. It's a great community, and I am amazed that this platform has kept up to date with Wifi, mp3s, etc. As a hobbiest, I'm sure I'll soon get a 2x00 of some sort. Maybe I'll use it as web server, or a big remote, brainstorming at work. But not for daily PIM use - too big, for ME.

Bubba

Good luck, and keep up posted on what you end up with.
