The first time I used a Mac for real (a Q840AV with an Armistice board), I
was having problems with my little fingers going tingley. After a very
short period of using the Apple Design Adjustable split keyboard, the
tingles stopped. I will also add that my vision cleared up after using a
19" Trinitron Apple monitor after many years of using Pee Cee amber screens
of blindness.
I subsequently had to go back to using Pee Cees and talked the purchasing
geeks into getting me a Microsoft "natural" keyboard. When I changed jobs I
bought one for home and another for work.
I need to use my hands and eyes to do my work as a programmer geek for many
years to come. Good monitors and keyboards are a requirement to protect me
from my, apparently, hazardous job.
