on a consistant basis when I retired my Newton 110. My Newton 2x00's
and E-Mate run autonomous of any other computer about 90% of the time.
Ethernet is nice that way.
        But I do tend to treat my Newton as its own platform. It *CAN*
talk to other computers (Mac, PC, ST, Amiga, Atari 800.. etc etc..) if I
REALLY need to, but that doesn't happen too often.

heck, i haven't touched my 2100 for 6 months and i still read every
